    Your personal information is used for the purpose of responding and processing your request for conference organization services. We collect the information:
    • Verbally either in person or over the phone.
    • Electronically via email.
    • In writing via written correspondence and faxes.

      The personal information we collect, use and disclose is based on the product or services you request from us. In addition to name, address, phone number, email address and credit card information, we may need to know other information. Hotels may want to know whether or not you are a smoker and if you have any special dietary requirements etc.

  • Consent
    IMCI considers consent to be an expression of permission to collect and use information for the purpose of providing conference organization services. Consent is obtained by:
    • Written permission via mail, email or fax.
    • Verbal permission with a dated notation in the clients file along with the initials of the employee who receives the information.
    • Third party consent, as long as the party is known to IMCI and is in a position to give consent such as an executive assistant, secretary or a relative.

  • Limited Collection
    We do not collect information for any purpose other than to respond to requests for conference organization services. IMCI does not sell, share or divulge client information to unrelated third parties.

  • Limited Use Disclosure and Retention
    IMCI only collects information for the purpose of planning and arranging conferences, alerting clients to events that affect them and to advise clients. Client information will be retained for the period of time required to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.

  • Accuracy
    We try to keep our client information as up to date as possible. To that effect, we may contact you occasionally to ensure our information is accurate.

  • Safeguards
    IMCI has sophisticated security measures and procedures in place to ensure that your personal information is prohibited from misuse and from unauthorized access. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. Our website contains links to other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site, and to read the privacy statements of the third party sites.

  • Openness
    IMCI reserves the right to modify or amend this pledge at any time and for any reason. If there are material changes it will be posted prominently on our website prior to implementing the change.
    Regardless of later updates, we will abide by the information privacy practices described in this Privacy Pledge at the time you provided us with your information.

  • Individual Access
    Upon request, you shall be informed of the existence, use or disclosure of your personal information and be given access to it. You may verify the accuracy and completeness of the information, and may request that it be amended if appropriate.
